Eagle Viewing On Your Own

CNPPID will not open the eagle viewing facility below Kingsley Dam at Lake Ogallala for the 2020-21 season due to COVID restrictions. Park grounds remain open for independent wildlife watching. Eagles usually begin to congregate during cold weather in late December.

 A park entry vehicle permit is needed for all vehicles in the area, and these are available online at outdoornebraska.gov.
