The Ogallala Farmers Market is held Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to noon at Rendezvous Square.   This year’s season begins June 3, 2023. Markets generally continue through early October.

Halloween in the Hollow

Come out to Ash Hollow State Historical Park & celebrate Halloween with the ghosts of the Oregon Trail on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 1-9 p.m. Mountain Time!
Admission: $1 per person; a valid state park vehicle permit is required.
Enjoy kid’s games, concessions, pumpkin picking & decorating, nerf wars, a s’more pit, scavenger hunt, shooting range, hay rack rides and a costume contest! The costume contest starts at 4:30 p.m.
5 p.m. – Trunk or Treat, sponsored by NGPC conservation officers, area EMS and law enforcement. Vehicles, ambulances, cruisers and fire rigs will be there throughout the event for kids to look at!
7-9 p.m. – Halloween After Dark – A time for teens and young adults to gather for a bonfire, spooky stories, karaoke and some night games!

Join the Ogallala Regional Arts Council for Jason Lyle Black in concert Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7 PM at the Ogallala Performing Arts Center.   Black is an award-winning piano entertainer whose clever arrangements, fun stories and onstage charm has won countless fans throughout the world.

In his live shows, Black takes audiences on a journey through numerous musical styles, playing nearly 100 songs in his fast-paced show, all interwoven with Black’s comedic stories like “Songs Not to Play at People’s Weddings and Funerals.”

Tickets will be available at the door.

Join the Ogallala Regional Arts Council for Empire Trio Thursday, Feb. 1 at 7 PM at the Ogallala Performing Arts Center.

EMPIRE TRIO presents the most beloved and famous songs from the world of film from c.1930 until the mid-1990s. Songs from Casablanca, James Bond, Titanic, The Wizard of Oz, and stories about the great singers who performed them, from Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra to Céline Dion and Barbra Streisand. A glamorous soundtrack to the greatest silver screen films of all time!

Empire Trio is an exhilarating and uniquely talented classical crossover ensemble, that has been taking concert halls by storm all over the world.

Join the Ogallala Regional Arts Council for Brassfire Thursday, May 13 at 7 PM at the Ogallala Performing Arts Center.

Honoring the trumpet through the music of Louis Armstrong, Herb Alpert and Doc Severinsen, Brassfire is a virtuosic trio led by world-renowned trumpeter Jens Lindemann, who is not only a superb Juilliard-trained musician, but a wonderful entertainer.    Jens makes an instant connection with the audience and leads them along a delightful path of joy and wonder at the ensemble’s choice of music and dazzling playing.  Jens is a former member of the famed Canadian Brass, and has soloed with many of the world’s great orchestras.
