Gospel Night at the Arthur Baled Hay Church

The Arthur Baptist Church will host a gospel singalong night Saturday, Sept. 22nd at 6pm at the historic Baled Hay Church. The public is welcome to attend.  Located 2 blocks east and 1 block north of the Arthur courthouse.

The Pilgrim Holiness Church was built of baled rye straw in 1928, in a time and place when conventional materials were expensive and unavailable.   It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places for this unique mode of construction, associated with the history of settlement in the Nebraska Sandhills.
