Saturday, May 20th

Come out to Lake Ogallala to enjoy Free Park Day! Activities will include:

9:00am – Bird walk with the Park Naturalist at the Lake Ogallala hike/bike trail.  Binoculars, guides, and checklist will be available.

1:00pm – CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER. A guided nature journaling walk, meet at the Visitor/Water Interpretive Center. Bring a journal for drawing and recording observations.

5:00pm – CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER. Camping 101 at the Lake Ogallala Modern Campground.  Learn about the basics to a successful camping trip this summer.  There will be a contest for the fastest tent assembly, campsite games, and s’mores.
